How We Support Employers
SETA Funding Opportunity Identification based on the employer's registered SETA, sector and business activities, workforce profile, skills gaps, Workplace Skills Plan, Employment Equity priorities, training requirements and planned learning interventions.
Mandatory Grant Support
Where applicable, we assist employers with annual processes required to support eligibility for SETA mandatory grants, including:
- Workplace Skills Plan (WSP)
- Annual Training Report (ATR)
- Applicable PIVOTAL information
- Training records and supporting documentation
- SETA submission administration and deadline management
Discretionary Grant Applications
Support may include reviewing funding specifications, eligibility assessment, matching programmes to funding priorities, application preparation, supporting documentation, learner and beneficiary planning, training budgets, workplace requirements and application submission support.
Funding for Workplace-Based Learning
Depending on the applicable SETA funding window, opportunities may support occupational programmes, learnerships, skills programmes, apprenticeships, internships, work-integrated learning, bursaries and workplace experience. Availability and eligibility vary between SETAs and individual funding windows.
